SNAP 2016 was held on December 18, 2016 between 2pm and 4pm at about 30 test centers across India. Hundreds of students appeared in the exam to seek admissions to one of the Symbiosis International University's 15 campuses of their choice.

Shiksha spoke to some SNAP aspirants to know how the exam was. Here is what the candidates had to say:

Ashish said, “According to me, the exam was of moderate difficulty. The LR section majorly consisted of puzzles and number series. I took a lot of time in solving these questions, but I think whatever I have attempted is accurate, and this might help me score decent marks.”

Rizaan had appeared for the exam last year too, and this is what he told Shiksha, “If I compare this year’s exam with last year’s, this year the exam was easier. Having said that, this year the QA section was a little tough than last year’s, but Reasoning, VA and GK sections were of moderate difficulty.”

Avni found the GK section a little tough. She said, “I had prepared well for all the sections, but I was a little worried about the GK section because you never know what type of questions will come in the exam. The GK section was a mixed bag consisting of questions based on current affairs and static GK. Though this section was extremely difficult for me, I have attempted the questions to the best of my ability. Ultimately, scores will tell rest of the story.”

Vidyush said, “If I have to sum up the difficulty level of the exam in one word, the word would be moderate. Talking about the each section, the VA section was easy to moderate, QA section was moderate, but certain questions based on Geometry were a little tricky – accuracy was much needed in this section. I found the Reasoning and GK sections tough.”

Adyanan said, “For me the GK section was extremely tough. There were numerous questions based on the current affairs. If a candidate would have been well prepared with the events and updates, only then could he or she have attempted questions from this section. Unfortunately, I could not prepare well for this section, and I am not very happy with the way I have performed in GK.”
