SNAP question paper is usually of easy to moderate difficulty level. In the last two years, the difficulty level of SNAP has reduced further. The SNAP paper now has only 60 questions to be solved in 60 minutes. There is no negative marking and no RC passages in SNAP. Candidates preparing for the exam must practice SNAP previous year papers to get an idea of the difficulty level, types of question asked and topic wise weightage.   • Solving SNAP previous year papers helps the candidate in gaining familiarity with the actual question paper pattern.

SNAP Question Paper 2021: Highlights

The SNAP 2021 questions paper had 60 questions to be solved in 60 minutes. It was divided into three sections: General English (GE), Analytical & Logical Reasoning (A-LR) and Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation-Data Sufficiency (QA, DI-DS). The General English section of SNAP exam had 15 MCQs, Analytical & Logical Reasoning section will have 25 MCQs and Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation-Data Sufficiency section will have 20 MCQs. Q: What is the SNAP exam pattern?

A: SNAP used to be an annual exam until 2019 but in 2020, the pattern changed to three-day test. According to the latest scheme, the SNAP will be conducted thrice between December and January and the candidate can take up to two attempts. Best of the two scores will be considered for SIU admission.

Q: What is the difficulty level of SNAP question paper?

A: SNAP is usually of easy to moderate difficulty level exam. It is much easier than other MBA entrance exams as despite same syllabus, one has to answer only 60 questions in SNAP. In 2020, there were no Reading Comprehension and Data Sufficiency questions asked in SNAP.

Q: When is the SNAP question papers released?

A: SNAP question paper used to be released along with the answer key after the exam has been conducted till 2019. However, from 2020, the question paper and answer key is not released. 

Q: Is SNAP mock test same as SNAP test paper?

A: Yes, the official SNAP mock test is a replica of SNAP test paper as the purpose of the mock test is to familiarise the test takers with the exam pattern, test structure, type of questions, marking scheme and average time taken in solving each question.

Q: How many SNAP previous year papers and sample papers should I solve for a good score in exam?

A: On an average, candidates should practice at least 25-30 SNAP mock tests to perform well in the exam. However, every candidate must decide upon the number and quality of mock tests based on their preparation level. They neither should solve less mock tests nor over do it.

Q: What is the sequence of sections in SNAP question paper?

A: The first section of SNAP 2022 question paper will be General English, the second section will be Analytical & Logical Reasoning and the third section will be Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency.

Q: Which is the toughest section of SNAP?

A: As per the previous years’ question paper analysis, the Analytical & Logical Reasoning section of SNAP exam is usually tougher than General English and Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency sections.

Q: How many Special Questions will be there in SNAP 2022 question paper?

A: Special Questions have been dropped from SNAP. The question papers of the last two years did not have Special Questions thus, it is expected that SNAP 2022 will also not have Special Questions. All the questions of all the three sections will be MCQs.

Q: When is the answer key of SNAP 2022 question paper expected?

A: The answer key of SNAP 2022 is not released by the official examination body. Candidates can however get unofficial and memory based questions and answer keys from experts and test takers.

Q: Which section of SNAP question paper has maximum number of questions?

A: Until 2019, Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency section of SNAP exam used to have the maximum number of questions (40), but from SNAP 2020 the Analytical and Logical Reasoning section has maximum number of questions (25).

Q: What is the marking scheme of SNAP exam?

A: Earlier, there were differential marking in SNAP exam, but last year the marking scheme was revised. Now, each question of the SNAP question paper across all the three sections carry one mark. There is negative marking of 1/4 th marks for each wrong attempt.

SNAP is a one hour exam. It has 60 questions so you have one question per minute. The level of difficulty of the exam is easy. You just need speed and accuracy. NMAT is conducted by a particular institute called Narsee Monjee for selecting MBA students for their college. NMAT has a different exam structure and syllabus from CAT with No negative marking.
