Mysore University accepts entrance exams for courses such as B.Tech, MBA, M.Tech, B.Arch Ph.D. etc. The entrance exam accepted for B.Tech course is KCET. Karnataka PGCET syllabus has five sections as mentioned below:

Karnataka Examinations Authority does not release the PGCET cutoff scores/ranks along with the declaration of the results. Seats at VTU are allocated by KEA, based on the scores of the accepted exams. However, the university promotes inclusivity of students belonging to the minority categories of Karnataka. So the eligibility criteria of minimum aggregate marks in bachelor’s degree is 45% for the minority candidates belonging to Karnataka, as opposed to the minimum aggregate requirement of 50% for all the other candidates.

The total seat intake of Alliance University for MBA course is 2460. The two- year, full-time MBA course at Alliance University is offered by the Alliance School of Business. Admission to the course is entrance based. Candidates with a Bachelors degree from recognised institute or University with a minimum 50% aggregate (45% for reserved category) can apply for Alliance University MBA admissions.

Kuvempu University offers MBA programme for a duration of two-years in three specialisations. Candidates after completing graduation can apply for any of the below specialisations:

University of Mysore is also good, but I prefer Mangalore University, with first-class campus environment and first-class teachers.There are no comparable standards for universities, and every university has different development ideas.
