On the University Engineering College, Kota campus, there is RTU. About 130 engineering institutions, 4 B.Arch colleges, 41 MCA colleges, 95 MBA colleges, 44 M.Tech colleges, and 3 institutes for hotel management and catering are affiliated with the university. In the universities' connected institutions, there are more than 2.5 lakh students enrolled.

Admission shall be given on the basis of

1. Bachelor’s degree performance and marks secured in personal interview or
2. 80 percentile in MAT/CAT/XAT or
3. More than 600 marks in GMAT.

The curriculum of the course is also dynamic. Students get to study the in-depth core areas of Management branches. MAT is conducted multiple times a year. Most of the MBA entrance exams in India are conducted annually. MAT is the only exam that is conducted multiple times in four phases and multiple exam modes. To make it possible for every MBA aspirant to appear for an entrance exam, AIMA designed MAT, which can be taken by candidates from an exam center as well as at home. The exam is held in February, May, September, and December, which allows candidates to prepare and plan for it as well as for MBA admission. In each of these four months, the MAT is conducted in CBT, PBT, and IBT modes. Candidates can choose a date and a mode of exam based on their preparation and convenience. Registrations for each MAT exam phase start a month earlier. Candidates can also take re-tests in the same academic session if they are not happy with their scores.

IIT Jodhpur provides government-approved scholarship programmes as well as merit-based, means-based, and merit-and-means-based programmes. The institute's Office of Students is in charge of inspiring and informing students about the different institutional and national scholarships.
