Our college is worth all the hard-earned money.

Placements: This year, the top 25% of the batch received an average salary package of 34.8 LPA. The overall average salary package offered is 25.08 LPA. A total of 370 offers were made for the batch with 358 students. The highest salary package offered more than 50 LPA. Master Card, Air BnB, DBS Bank, ZS Associates, Tata Electronics, Nykaa, and Rebel Foods were among the new recruiters this time.

Infrastructure: Sports activities are given a lot of importance at XLRI. There are separate fields and areas for badminton, basketball, cricket, football, tennis, and volleyball. A sports festival named Ensemble Valhalla is also organised here. XLRI has a perfect environment for learning. Sir Jahangir Library has over 69,500 books, 49 electronic resources and databases, 90 print magazines and journals, etc. There are 22 classrooms with a seating capacity of 70, and each classroom has been designed like an amphitheater.

Faculty: The curriculum of PGDM BM has a mixture of some basic and advanced courses that suit the incumbent requirements of the industry. Decision-making ability depends on the knowledge of all the functions of management. So economics, operations, finance, information systems, marketing, and strategic management subjects bear equal relevance.

There is no better college than this.

Placements: Almost 100% of the students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is around 40 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is around 15 LPA and the average salary package offered is around 25 LPA. MBB and IB firms are coveted among the students, and more than 200 companies visit our campus every year. Everyone gets a summer internship among top firms, and around 50% of the students get PPOs. Consulting roles are offered to about 20% of the students, and every other role offered is at least for mid-management.

Infrastructure: Every sporting facility, top-class library, lush green environment, amazing weather and internet connectivity are very seamless. The academic rigor and extra activities are always conducted here.

Faculty: The course curriculum is industry-relevant and more importantly, gives you the right approach to solve problems. Faculty members are top-notch and always supportive, and you can learn exponentially with them.

Other: I have chosen this course because it is the best way to enter corporate life, and it teaches you the nitty-gritty. It also offers a good level of job to learn and grow.

Review of XLRI Xavier School of Management.

Placements: Almost 100% of the students got placements from our college. I am not sure about the lowest salary package offered, but the highest salary package offered in India would be around 40 LPA. All the companies list is mentioned on XL website, so visit the campus website. But every year they hire a number of students depending on the market conditions. Roles offered here include consulting and marketing. The average salary package offered in our course was 18 LPA. Almost 100% of the students get internships, and all kinds of companies offer internships majorly in sales and marketing domains.

Infrastructure: XLRI has a superb campus in Jamshedpur with all the facilities, which students would require in a top college. Unlike engineering college, B-School hostels are much better in terms of facilities and also in food quality. XLRI is a private college, so all the facilities in the hostel and mess were good.

Faculty: XLRI has very qualified and highly knowledgeable faculty members. Their teaching quality is great, and like most top B-schools, XLRI also uses a lot of case study based teaching methodologies. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready, but it depends a lot on students like how they focus and uses these academic courses in real life.

Other: BM is one of the flagship courses and has subjects in all the specialisations like finance, marketing, IT, etc. With a general MBA degree, I could change my career from a software engineer to a product manager.

Review of XLRI Xavier School of Management.

Placements: About 100% of the students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was Rs. 35,000 per month and the lowest salary package offered was Rs. 10,000 per month and the average salary package offered was Rs. 18,000 per month. Top recruiting companies like BCG, HUL, P&G, TAS, and McKinsey visited the campus. Programme manager, associate consultant, business leadership, and programme graduate were the top roles offered. The highest salary package offered in our course was Rs. 35,000 per month and the lowest salary package offered was Rs. 12,000 per month and the average salary package offered was Rs. 18,000 per month. About 100% of students got an internship in all kind of companies like top and small companies.

Infrastructure: Labs were all equipped with Wi-Fi which was pretty decent. Since it is an old college, so classroom infrastructure was a bit outdated, but still, they have now built a separate building to accomodate the increasing students. Library and classrooms are above average. Food served is awesome, and the rest things are above average.

Faculty: Teachers were somewhat helpful, and have knowledge no doubt, but the teaching style is not mapped to the students, and they stick to their own way to which students have to adapt. Quality would be above average. The course curriculum is not exactly relevant. Practical experience is totally different.

Other: I have chosen this course because it is one of the top courses in the country. College should provide better industry sync. Events organised are very good.

It is a perfect college for MBA.

Placements: Almost 100% of the students from our senior batch got placed in their summer internship programme. Students also from the previous batch also 100% placed. Roles like consultants, financial analyst, etc., were offered to students. Companies like BCG, Bain and Co., etc., visited our campus for placements.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is excellent. There are single rooms in the hostel. The campus is enabled with Wi-Fi. Moreover, LAN nodes are also provided in all the hostel as well as classrooms. The library is equipped with 1.5 lacs books and has functional seating capacity.

Faculty: Professors in our college are all doctorates with very good knowledge of their respective subjects. Many professors are also working in the industry, and they know about what is happening in the industry.

Well, you have not indicated your bachelor's marks. You would have to score around 70% in bachelor's other entrance exams are also considered there. And also, they have their own entrance exam. You need to score in that as well.

You should have a gentle reason like if there was some serious issue because of which you backed. Else, they will definitely give priorities to a 3 year but yes, keep you score very good to give a good impression in front of faculties.
