For LPU's MCA admissions, LPUNEST is normally the main entrance test used to shortlist candidates and award scholarships, so qualifying it improves your chances and can be required if your graduation marks are below top thresholds. Candidates with very high graduation scores may get direct consideration, but LPUNEST is generally expected as part of the MCA selection process.

The Kalyani University WBJEE JECA Cutoff 2025 was published for admission to the MCA course for various categories under the Home State quota. The Kalyani University MCA Cutoff 2025 was also published for admission for the General AI category as well.
For the General AI category, the cutoff in the first round was 329 and in the last round, it was 407. Students can refer to the table below to know the first and last round cutoff for the Home State quota candidates.

Yes. You can apply provisionally. At the time of document verification, you must provide a certificate from your College Principal stating you will complete all examinations by June 2026. Final proof of passing with 55% (50% for SC/ST) must be submitted by October 31, 2026.

No, RV College of Engineering, Bangalore does not offer direct admission to MCA programme. The selection criteria for the programme is entrance based with the institute accepting Karnataka PGCET or KMAT for the same. The minimum eligibility is passing UG with atleast 50% aggregate score.

In MCA programme their are subjects like, C, C+, Data structures and algorithms, python, java, machine learning, artificial intelligence, ALP, Discrete mathematics, Design and analysis of algorithms, computer graphics, wireless and mobile communication, software engineering, computer networks, cryptography and network security, theory of computation, operating system and a major project which is done in 4th sem according to your knowledge and skills .
