In my opinion, Chandigarh University is a better choice than LPU for Mechanical Engineering. The university offers a well-structured curriculum with a strong focus on practical learning through modern laboratories, industry projects, and internships. It also has collaborations with leading industries, which provide students with better exposure and skill development. Mechanical Engineering students at CU benefit from good placement opportunities, experienced faculty, and access to advanced manufacturing and automation labs. As per my knowledge, you can secure a good package if you are attentive in your studies, and yes, I have heared that LPU provides good placement opportunities for Mechanical Engineering students. Many well-known companies visit the campus for hiring. Students also get internships, practical training, and placement support to help them get jobs. Students who work hard and build good skills have better chances of getting placed.
However, Placement also depends on your academic performance and your skills.
