Yes, Parul University Vadodara is considered to be on a moderately expensive side for most courses. While the lowest fee for a degree course stands at INR 32,000 (for MLib.Sc), the highest fee is INR 30.4 lakh (for BAMS) indicating a big difference in the fee range. Being a private university, the fee for various courses can be a little high. Mess food at GTU is quite average and there is pinch of sugary taste in the dal and vegetables because of the common taste of gujrati cooks made food. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. In the morning breakfast, they serve bread-butter, bread-jam, tea-biscuit, vadapav, samosa, srikhand, pyaaz kachori etc. In the evening lunch and dinner, menu remains almost same, roti, chawal, dal, 2 vegetable - one aalo or moong and other one is kadi, bhindi, parwal, brinjal. 

No, CHARUSAT is not a tier 1 university. CHARUSAT University is accredited with A+ Grade by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). The university has been given an Institution of Happiness (IOH) Certificate by QS I-GAUGE.
