An Engineering Degree (B.Tech/B.E.) is generally a better choice than a Diploma if your goal is long-term career growth. A degree offers deeper technical knowledge, better placement opportunities, higher salary potential, eligibility for postgraduate studies, and access to a wider range of engineering roles. A Diploma is ideal for gaining practical skills quickly and entering the workforce earlier, but career progression is often more limited. LPU's B.Tech programs provide industry-focused learning, internships, modern laboratories, and strong placement support, making them an excellent choice for aspiring engineers.

Yes, you can get admission to B.Tech in Cybersecurity at Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), but admission is highly competitive.

If you are currently in Class 12, follow these steps:

Complete Class 12 (PCM). You must pass with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational as the third subject, and meet the minimum qualifying marks.

Appear for MHT CET (PCM). Since you are in Class 12, you should take the MHT CET PCM examination. VJTI also accepts JEE Main for certain seats, but MHT CET is the primary route for Maharashtra candidates.
