CBSE 10th Maths Board Exam 2026: Central Board of Secondary Education will begin class 10 board exams from February 17, 2026. Among all subjects, Mathematics remains one of the most scoring yet challenging papers, making focused preparation essential in the final days before the exam.
According to CBSE syllabus and exam pattern, Mathematics question paper is to test conceptual understanding, problem solving skills and application based learning. Experts advise students to revise syllabus, giving extra attention to high weightage and frequently asked chapters.

- A thief runs with a uniform speed of 100 m/minute. After one minute, a policeman runs after thief to catch him. - Solve following pair of linear equations graphically: x + 3y = 6; 2x-3y = 12. Also, find the area of the triangle by lines representing the given equation with y-axis. (CBSE 2012-2020)
CBSE is conducting the CBSE practical exams between January 1 and Feb 14, 2026. There is no external examiner allotted to conduct practical exams for Class 10, while external examiners are called to conduct the CBSE 12th practical exams.
For winter-bound schools, CBSE practical exams 2026 were held between November 6 and December 6, 2026.
For CBSE 10th exams:
- Must-haves: Admit Card & School ID
- Optional: Pens, pencils, eraser, sharpener, ruler (check subject requirements), water bottle (check school rules).
- Dress code: School uniform (unless advised otherwise).
- No electronics or valuables.
- Arrive 30 minutes early.
