CBSE Class 11 and 12 Exams 2026: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is planning to implement a two-tier system for Science, Technology, Engineering and Management (STEM) for classes 11 and 12. plan is an extension of model already introduced in Classes 9 and 10, where science is offered at two levels, basic and standard, to accommodate different student needs. CBSE is likely to extend this system to STEM subjects in higher secondary classes, starting with Class 11 students from 2026β27 academic year.
