Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has announced free subject-wise question banks for Class 10 and 12 students. Prepared under NEP 2020 guidelines, these resources aim to help students with board exam preparation. Available for download at hpbose.org.

Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education, Dharamshala, released an official notice on December 5, 2025. The notice was published on the HPBOSE website at  hpbose.org. The Himachal Board has announced through a notice to offer free question banks for all HP Board class 10 and 12 students.

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education has informed that it will offer a competency-based question bank for the upcoming HP Board Exam 2026. These Subject-wise question banks are prepared as per the guidelines of the National Education Policy 2020.

As per the official notice, main objective behind this step is to help students in HPBOSE Board Exam Preparation. This subject-wise question bank for class 10 and 12 will help students of Himachal Pradesh prepare for board exams. Students must ensure to solve atleast one previous year HPBOSE 12th question paper of Maths every day to efficiently prepare for the HPBOSE 12th Mathematics board exam. Make sure to practice the question papers during the last month of the preparation. 

Q:   What is the difference between HPBOSE 12th sample papers and HPBOSE 12th question paper?
A:

HPBOSE 12th Sample papers are the question paper released by the Board at the beginning of the academic session. It shares the questions in a pattern similar to what you should expect in the main exam. They are provided to you to download and practice for better preparation.  However, HPBOSE 12th board exam question paper is the question paper you receive on the day of the exam. You need to go through the questions and answer them in the answer sheet provided by the board. You cannot know or practice the questions on the HPBOSE 12th board question paper prior to the exam.
