Karnataka SSLC examinations to take place between June 14 and June 25, 2021. Read to know more.

The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) will be conducting the Karnataka SSLC 2021 examinations between June 14 and June 25, 2021. The same has been confirmed by the State Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar on Thursday. The detailed Karnataka SSLC Time Table 2021 will soon be released on the official website of the State Board. Students must keep visiting the website regularly for such updates.

As per the tentative SSLC Time Table 2021, the exam will begin on June 14, 2021, with the First Language exam, followed by Mathematics on June 16, English or Second Language on June 18, Science on June 21, Third Language on June 23, and Social Science on June 25, as per media reports. 

Earlier, the minister had tweeted that the examinations for Karnataka SSLC and 2nd PUC have been postponed and will not be conducted in March. In his statement, he said that the SSLC examinations would be conducted in the first week of June, while the Karnataka 2nd PUC will be conducted in May.

Meanwhile, the State government has modified the SSLC Syllabus by 30% in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. Students must go through the syllabus and the examination pattern thoroughly. The state education minister also said that there was no proposal before the government to further reduce the syllabus for Class 10 as an alternative academic schedule has already been finalised.

Further, he said that the evaluation would be held at the school-level for these classes and be based on the students’ learning ability.

Meanwhile, the schools in the state have been reopened from January 1, 2021. The schools have been reopened for class 6 upwards. However, first, the students of Class 10 and 12 would be returning to schools. As for Class 6 onwards, the Vidyagama program would be put in place. Attending classes would not be mandatory.
