The state board is yet to announce the process for evaluation of Mah SSC Result 2021. The teachers demand a voice in the process.
Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) decided to cancel the Mah SSC exam 2021 due to rising pandemic situation. The Board is yet to announce its decision on the assessment and teachers want a voice in the process.
After the cancellation of the exams, School Education Minister of the state Varsha Gaikwad has been meeting various stakeholders to draft a plan to evaluate students, issue mark sheets, and declare the results, but teachers feel that they must also be consulted as it is important to hear from the ground.
According to media reports, a teacher of a Zilla Parishad School said, “Students and schools across the state have varied learning levels, access to digital learning, and admission patterns for junior college. It would be critical to hear from teachers on how they can best evaluate the progress of children through the year. We must be included in the consultations.”
Shivnath Darade of teachers’ group Shikshak Parishad shared that stakeholders, including teachers, must be consulted while drafting an assessment module and the state must take into consideration the impact on junior college admissions. CBSE and CISCE are also yet to declare their evaluation criterion to assess Class 10th result 2021.
Meanwhile, the board has postponed the Mah HSC exams 2021 and the new time table for the same will be announced later after reviewing the situation.
