Punjab Board Announces Direct Textbooks Distribution To Class 1 to Class 12; Details Below

Punjab School Education Board has announced that it will directly supply the textbooks for Class 1 to Class 12 through affiliated and associated schools from the academic session 2026-27.

Affiliated Schools Must Demand Books before March 15

The Board has launched an online portal on its official website pseb.ac.in to make sure that it all happens hassle free. The affiliated schools must submit the textbook demand by March 15, 2026. They need to log in and fill in the "Book Demand" before this date. The schools must specify subject wise and class wise requirements.

It is an initiative by Board to improve transparency and ensure that the textbooks are distributed across Punjab. The Board has said that the schools must complete the online submission before the deadline so that necessary arrangement can be made before the next session starts.
The textbooks will be aligned strictly with the PSEB curriculum. These textbooks will cover core academic subjects like Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Languages and Elective subjects from classes 1 to 12.

The board has also informed that the textbooks distribution will begin before the new academic session begins hence, schools will have sufficient time to organize and plan classes. Parents are advised to buy only these authorised textbooks and avoid unofficial or non-board recommended materials.
