UP Board Exam 2025: UPMSP 10th 12th Exams 2025 are ongoing. While the board claimed the commencement of the UP Board Exam 2025 under strict surviellence, a shocking incidence has come to light. The UP Board exams were marred by a mix-up at the Kabool Kanya Inter College in Khatauli, Muzaffarnagar district, where several Class 12 students received the Hindi Literature paper instead of the expected General Hindi paper. The error occurred during the second shift of the exam on Monday and led to widespread protests outside the examination center as students demanded a re-exam.

Students Receive Wrong Paper, Protests Erupt

According to reports, six or seven students in the Class 12 batch were handed the wrong question paper. The students immediately raised the issue with the invigilators, but their complaints were reportedly ignored. Shalu Kumari, one of the affected students, shared her ordeal, stating, "When we saw the paper was wrong, we told the teacher, but they threatened us, saying, 'You must attempt it. This is from the board.'" She further explained that after completing the exam, the students were instructed to leave the examination hall without any resolution. Attempts to contact the principal went unanswered, fueling the frustration among students and parents.

District Inspector’s Response: Action Taken Against Staff

Following the complaints and protests, the District Inspector of Schools, Rajkumar Srivastava, addressed the issue on Tuesday. He confirmed that the error occurred during the second shift of the exam. "After the exam, students reported the mix-up to the center administrator. We reviewed the records, removed the administrator and the second administrator, and debarred them from further duties," he stated. Srivastava added that a report has been sent to the UP Board for further action, but as of now, there is no confirmation on whether a re-exam will be scheduled.

While this incident has drawn attention, the UP Board Exams 2025 are being conducted across 8,140 exam centers statewide, with over 54.37 lakh students participating.
