UP Board Exam 2026

Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has adopted a new digital exam centre allocation policy for the UP Board exam 2026. As per the policy, exam centres will be determined through a computer-based system on infrastructure and geographical information. Reportedly, the exam centre for the UP Board exam 2026 will be allocated within a radius of 7 to 15 kilometres. The exam centre determination process will begin on November 10 and will be completed by December 30.

Meanwhile, the authorities have planned to increase the student capacity from 2000 to 2200 students. Schools with laboratory facilities and a CCTV system will be given priority to become a UP Board exam centre. The higher holding capacity of the school will get more points in becoming the exam centre.

The UP government has issued the centre determination policy for high school as well as intermediate examinations. The latest guidelines also mentioned that for the first time, schools that mark their attendance online have been awarded 10 points for centre determination.

Four Double Lock Shelves For Question Paper

The authorities will provide four double-locked cabinets at the examination centre to secure the question papers. For the 2025 examination, three cabinets were provided.
