ISB Online partners with Chanakya National Law University to Introduce SEL Program

Through this initiative, ISB Online and CNLU aim to equip students with the competencies necessary to excel in their careers and contribute meaningfully to their professional fields.
Chanakya National Law University (CNLU) is set to launch a new credit-based Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) programme, in collaboration with ISB Online. Starting from the 2024-25 academic session, this innovative programme will be integrated into CNLU's curriculum as a two-credit elective course, aimed at bolstering students’ professional skills and career preparedness.
Programme Focus and Objectives
The SEL programme is designed to enhance essential interpersonal and intrapersonal skills. It will cover critical areas such as emotional intelligence, stress management, leadership, and teamwork. This move represents a significant advancement in CNLU’s educational strategy, aligning with the evolving needs of the legal profession.
Holistic Educational Approach
The curriculum will feature a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical, real-world applications, delivered through online courses led by experienced faculty members from ISB Online. This partnership underscores a commitment to providing a well-rounded education that prepares students for the complexities of the modern legal landscape.
Institutional Vision and Commitment
Professor Dr Faizan Mustafa, Vice-Chancellor of CNLU, emphasized the importance of this programme in nurturing future leaders. “In today’s dynamic professional landscape, technical expertise alone is insufficient. Our students need strong social and emotional competencies to thrive in their careers. This programme aligns with our vision of fostering empathetic, resilient leaders who are well-equipped to face global challenges,” said Professor Mustafa.
Through this initiative, ISB Online and CNLU aim to equip students with the competencies necessary to excel in their careers and contribute meaningfully to their professional fields.
