SRMIST Celebrates 2025 Online & Distance Education Graduation: 4,315 Students Graduate

SRMIST celebrated its Online & Distance Education Graduation Day 2025. Vice Chancellor Honored 4,215 graduates across diverse programs, which include MBA, MCA, and Commerce. The event highlighted flexible, industry-aligned learning, with 50 rank holders recognized for excellence. 

SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Kattankulathur, held its Online and Distance Education Graduation Day 2025. The event celebrated thousands of students who completed flexible, technology-based courses.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. C. Muthamizhchelvan, told the graduates that learning while managing work and personal life is very important. He said this group shows a new way of education where knowledge is used in real life.

This year, 4,215 students got degrees and diplomas. Out of these:

• 1,925 students came in person
• 2,290 students got their degrees without attending

This shows SRMIST wants education to be easy for everyone. Students graduated from many programs, such as;

• MBA (2,534 students)
• MCA (1,365 students)
• Other courses: M.Com, M.Sc, MA, BBA, BCA, B.Com, BA, and Diploma.

The event also gave awards to 50 top-ranked holders for excellent marks. Dr. Manoranjan Pon. Ram, Director of Online Education, said SRMIST’s online courses follow UGC-DEB rules and are made for working people who want better jobs and global chances. He said SRM Online gives strong education with modern flexibility.

SRMIST has NAAC A++ accreditation, Ranked 11th in NIRF 2025 and has Global QS ratings. SRMIST has campuses across India and supports education for everyone.
