SPPU Exams 2021: Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has announced that it will be announcing the results for the practical examinations only after the second semester. SPPU has earlier announced that it will be conducting the first-semester examination from April 11, which includes practical examinations too.

The varsity has not released the examination schedule and will be declaring it on March 25. All the subject papers will have 50 marks online examination. The teachers have been directed to set the papers accordingly, said the officials.
Bachelor of Commerce, BA, MA examinations have no practical examinations. Thus, the results of these examinations will be declared soon. The varsity had said that since colleges were closed due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the practical examination was not held.
When the colleges will be started, the practicals will be taken and the results of both the written and practical examination will be declared together.

Earlier, SPPU stated that it will begin the exams from March 15 for theory papers, while practical examinations for the first semester were supposed to be conducted with the practical examinations for the second semester. However, the university could not appoint an agency to conduct the exam online. Hence, there was a delay.

SPPU Vice-Chancellor Dr Nitin Karmalkar said that the online exam will be conducted by SPPU Edutech Foundation, a company owned by the university. The 50:20 formula has been abolished and examinations for all courses and all years will be conducted with 50 marks in MCQ system.
