Indian Institute of Technology, IIT, Bombay’s two graduates are in the news for their exceptional invention. According to the official reports, the IIT Bombay graduates developed an android application for online learning for students. The mobile application is named as ‘Wise App’. The mobile application ‘Wise App’ is developed to help students for online learning on the 2G service. The reports also suggest that the application is extremely user-friendly, completely free of cost, and comes without any advertisements.

The mobile application is developed by the IIT graduates, Mubeeen Masudi and Bilal Abidi together. Both graduated from IIT Bombay in 2011. While speaking with a reputed media source, the two said, “Wise App, which works on 2G, enables teachers to schedule and conduct live classes on ZOOM without the headache of having to share meeting IDs and passwords. Additionally, it enables teachers to send and receive assignments, facilitate discussions, share material, and receive automated attendance reports, all at one place.”

Education Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank also praised the two graduates for their unique and helpful discovery.

It took two months for Abidi to develop and the app. The duo launched the app on Google Play store last week. According to Abidi, the application is extremely simple, user friendly. He also said that anyone can just download the application from the play store and start using it right away. The app is completely free of cost and comes without any advertisement. Until now 50 teachers have already started testing the app by using it.
