The reports suggest that according to the official data released by the Mumbai University, it has happened for the first time that a record 95% of students cleared the BCom third year exams while 96% of students cleared the LLB exams.

Students who appeared for their semester exams conducted recently amid the ongoing pandemic situation can now check the MU Sem Exam Result 2020. The reports suggest that according to the official data released by the Mumbai University, it has happened for the first time that a record 95% of students cleared the BCom third year exams while 96% of students cleared the LLB exams.

A student is considered as passing the UG exams if s/he secures the minimum required marks as ascertained by the University. All the students who qualify in the semester exams will be promoted to the next semester or next higher course of study as per the norms of the University. The Mumbai University generally records a passing percentage of 70 % range for BCom while for LLB it is in the 65-70% range. However this year, in LLB exams, 4 students at least have scored 400/400 in theory papers, around 600 students scored a perfect 100 in one/two/three papers. A reason attributed to such high scores in Mumbai University results is the MCQ format of the question paper along with students attempting the exams from home.
