NIT Calicut Admissions 2021: National Institute of Technology (NIT) Calicut commenced the admission applications process for the PhD Programs in various departments/schools of the Institute. Candidates interested in NIT Calicut Admissions 2021 can submit the applications at http://www.dss.nitc.ac.in/mtechapp/phd/frmLogin.aspx. The last date to submit the applications is May 15, 2021, latest by 5 PM.

NIT Calicut PhD Admissions: Application fee

Admission to the PhD programmes will be offered in (i) Full-Time (ii) Part-Time and (iii) External schemes. No applications will be accepted without the submission of the application fee. Applicants can submit the fee online. The application fee is Rs. 600/- (Rs. 300/- for SC/ST/PWD applicants). Selection of the candidates will be through an admission process as decided by the respective Department/School.

NIT PhD Admissions 2021: Eligibility Criteria

NIT Calicut offers PhD Program in the Departments of Architecture and Planning, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics and the Schools of Biotechnology, Management Studies, Materials Science and Engineering. Those with Masters in Engineering/Technology, Master's degree in Architecture/Design/Planning; Masters in specified subjects, MD/MS/DNB with MBBS at Bachelor level can apply for the various programs.

Direct PhD for BE/BTech Graduates: Those with BE/ BTech or equivalent are eligible to apply for direct PhD admission within 5 years after obtaining the qualifying degree. Applicants need an additional National level eligibility qualification /fellowship depending on the subject area for all programs.
