NIFT Application Form 2026
NIFT 2026 Application has started now for all the programmes at nift.ac.in/admission. Applications will be released for B.Des, B.F Tech, M.Des, M.F Tech and MFM Programmes. Candidates should check the eligibility criteria for each programme and then apply. NIFT application fee is expected to be around INR 2,000 for Open categories and INR 500 for SC, ST, and PwD categories. The last date is January 06, 2026
NIFT Entrance Exam 2026 will be conducted on February 08, 2026. NIFT 2026 Information Bulletin and guidelines have also been released.
How to fill NIFT 2026 Application form?
Candidates meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria must apply for the exam following the process below.
- Register for the exam - To register for the exam, the candidate must first enter their Aadhaar number. Then enter personal details like name, email ID, and mobile number. On successful registration, an applicant account will be created.
- Fill in the form- Log in to the newly created account and fill in personal, academic, and contact details. Also, select an exam center for the NIFT 2026 exam.
- Upload documents- In this step, you will have to upload documents like photographs and signatures per the prescribed format.
- Pay the application fee - The candidate has to finally pay the application fee to complete the application process

NIFT Application begins for UG and PG for 2026.
NIFT Application 2026 is expected to open anytime now in November 2025. NIFT 2026 Application forms and Notifications can be out anytime now for B.Des, M.Des, B.F. Tech, M.F.Tech, and M.F.M programmes. The application form will be released at @nift.ac.in. The NIFT entrance exam application form is the same for all courses. The application fee for NIFT will be around INR 3,000 (INR 1500 for SC, ST, and PwD categories). NIFT Application forms can also be filled with late fees. The late fee will be around INR 5,000.
The candidate will be given the option to edit the NIFT 2026 application form in the second week of January 2026.
Using the NIFT application edit option, the candidate will be able to edit or correct some of the information in the application form. Some of the details the candidate can edit include name, date of birth, category, state domicile, etc. However, the candidate is not allowed to edit the exam city. The schedule for the application correction will be notified by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) at its admission portal - niftadmissions.in.
