UCEED Exam is conducted by IIT Bombay. It is for B.Des programmes. The exam will be conducted in 27 cities across India. Candidates are required to dress modestly for the test centres. They must bring Admit card for the test along with Photo ID proof. They should also check the centre details and timing given on the admit card and plan for the exam

The UCEED Exam is to be conducted the day after tomorrow. There is high pressure on the children and theier parent. Read on to find some of the ways to manage the exam day smoothly.

IIT Bombay will be conducting the UCEED Exam on January 18, 2026 for the B.Des Programmes. The exam will be conducted from 9 AM to 12 PM. The reporting time is 7 AM. There will be biometric attendance at the UCEED Centre. Candidates must carry UCEED Admit card and photo ID proof for the exam.

The exam will be 3 Hours. There will be two parts: Part A and Part B. Part A will be of 200 marks and Part B will be 100 marks. 

What should parents do for the UCEED 2026 Entrance Exam?

Parents should keep the following points in mind.

  • They should take care of travel and accommodation for exam day. The details of the centre is already mentioned on the UCEED Hall ticket. 
  • Carry 2-3 copies of UCEED Admit card, in case the admit card is lost, one should have a backup.
  • Keep 2-3 Photo ID proofs for the exam day.
  • Make sure the tickets and all other bookings have been finalised before exam day.
  • Plan a healthy diet for the candidates and ensure they get proper sleep.
  • Visit the centre in advance to check the way and traffic patterns.
  • Avoid staying at the centre during exam time to make the exam centre less crowded.
  • Keep atmosphere at home light. Avoid discussing mock test scores or comparing your child’s progress with others. A calm home leads to a focused mind.
