GATE 2026 Admit Card Release Date: For candidates who registered for two papers & download instructions
IIT Guwahati will release GATE 2026 admit card on January 2 (Tomorrow). However, many students get confused about whether they have to download two hall tickets for both papers or just one. Read below to check complete information on GATE hall ticket download date for papers 1 and 2.
GATE 2026 admit card release date is OUT now. Students who have submitted their application form can download it from GOAPS login. Students who have registered for primary and secondary paper can get details regarding GATE hall ticket download process and instructions here.
GATE Exam Admit Card 2026 Download Date
Students who have registered for GATE paper 1 and 2 can download the hall ticket on January 2. The downloading process remains the same. Candidates can check the process below to download hall ticket for GATE 2026.
- Visit official website and go to GOAPS portal
- Enter enrollment ID and password
- Select download option and save
- Check details and take printout of GATE admit card

Candidates who have applied for two papers will have to download only one GATE exam hall ticket. The admit card will have details of both the subjects along with following details -
- Name and Date of birth
- Photo and signature
- GATE primary and secondary paper details (exam date and time)
- Exam centre address details
- Enrollment ID
- Barcode
- Roll number
- Signature of organising chairperson
- Exam day guidelines
Candidates must check their GATE 2026 date for both papers carefully and plan for their travel accordingly.
The GATE exam centre for paper 1 and 2 may vary. However, the test centre will be allotted based on the choices submitted at the time of registration. Candidates are advised to check all their venue carefully.
IIT Guwahati will conduct GATE 2026 on February 7, 8, 14, and 15 in two shifts. The forenoon session timings are 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and afternoon shift timings are 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Candidates are advised to reach the centre an hour before the exam time.
