GATE 2026 admit card release date has become one of searched topics on internet lately, as the exam dates are approaching. While official notification is yet to release, here’s a pattern that has been observed while analysing last year GATE hall ticket 2026 release date trends.
With no official confirmation of GATE 2026 admit card revised date yet, students are speculating expected release dates based on previous year’s trends. Looking at timeline might help predict IITG GATE admit card schedule for exam.
Last year, admit card of GATE was initially scheduled to release on January 2 but was later postponed to January 7, and was held on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, maintaining a gap of likely 25 days between hall ticket release and exam dates, which is sufficient for download, verification, and plan for travel.
For GATE 2026, exam dates along with branch-wise exam dates have been announced, and is scheduled for February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026. If organising institute follow same trend as last year, then GATE admit card 2026 is expected to be released in the 2nd week of January (Jan 13 and January 18), roughly making a 25-day gap.

IIT Guwahati has released GATE entrance admit card for MTech, M.Pharma, ME, PhD, and other programmes. To download, candidates must login at GOAPS using their enrollment ID and password.
