Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) declared the KCET 2026 results on June 6, 2026, and in a record breaking spree, female candidates dominated the KCET 2026 results as female candidates lead the registration and as well as garnered the top ranks across streams with Tanisha Karthik from RV PU College, Bengaluru  topping the engineering stream, while Navana Gopi ranking on top on all non-engineering streams like Veterinary Sciences, BSc Nursing, Yoga & Naturopathy, and B.Pharma, creating a unique feat.

This historic shift in gender participation and academic dominance was across the state with several female candidates named among the top 5 ranks. This year, female candidates completely rewrote the narrative by outnumbering male applicants and conquering highest individual honors.

According to official statistics from KEA, out of 3,30,479 candidates who registered for the state's largest common entrance exam, female participation reached newer heights.

• Female Registrations: 1,86,099

• Male Registrations: 1,44,380

• A staggering 41,719 more girls applied for the exam compared to boys, defining a clear trend of growing female representation in professional and technical higher education fields.

This wave translated directly into flawless merit performance. Fellow high-performer Amulya S followed Gopi, locking Rank 2 spot across several of those non-engioneering medical streams. Top 10 lists across all major categories, including Farm Sciences, featured multiple girls shattering pre-existing academic records.
