All 30 students of Akansha Super 30, Dehradun has cleared the JEE Main 2020.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) had declared the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main 2020 results for April/September session on September 11. All 30 students of Akansha Super 30, Dehradun has cleared the JEE Main 2020. With this, all 30 students are now one step closer to get admission to the premier engineering colleges. Akansha Super 30 is the CSR initiative of RailTel. RailTel, in association with Centre for Social Responsibility and Leadership, New Delhi, established a unit of Abhayanand Super 30 at Dehradun in 2015.

Puneet Chawla, CMD, RailTel said, β€œIt is heartening to see that these students, with their sheer talent and will power, are inching towards having a successful career. We are just happy to provide guidance to these kids so that they can fulfil their dreams of becoming an engineer.” 

The JEE Main result 2020 were announced on the official website, i.e. jeemain.nta.nic.in. As per the official data, 8.58 lakh students had resgistered for this session out of which, only 6.35 lakh appeared for the JEE Main 2020 engineering entrance examination. The number of students appearing for the JEE Main exam was recorded lesser than the usual due to ongoing coronavirus crisis in the country. The JEE Main examination was conducted from September 1-6 across 660 centres for paper 1 and 489 centres for paper 2 in India and 8 cities abroad. Many students, parents, and opposition leaders had protested against the Ministry of Education's decision to conduct the JEE Main Exam amid the ongoing coronavirus crisis, but the exam was conducted under the stringent COVID-19 protocols at the exam centres.
