JEE Main 2026: NTA to increase the number of exam cities, facilities for PwD/PwBD aspirants
JEE Main 2026 exam session 1 will be conducted from January 21 to 30 while the session 2 exam will be held from April 1 to 10. NTA has announced that the number of exam cities for JEE Main 2026 exam will be increased. Also, the facilities being provided to PwD/PwBD candidates at exam centres will be increased.
The National Testing Agency has announced that the number of exam cities for JEE Mains 2026 exam will be increased. This is being done to facilitate the participation of large number of engineering aspirants. Candidates sometimes had to travel far to appear in the exam due to unavailability of exam cities near to their native place.
NTA has also announced that theyβre looking for the special requirement of PwD/PwBD aspirants that have to be provided at exam centres. If any such facilities not available till now but is to be provided, all instructions will be given to the exam centres to fulfill the requirements.
The exam dates for JEE Main 2026 session 1 and 2 has been announced today. As per the schedule, JEE Main 2026 exam date session 1 is January 21 to 30 while the session 2 will be conducted from April 1 to 10.
JEE Main 2026 registration will soon start. As per the notification released by the NTA, the application form will be released in October but the exact JEE Main 2026 registration date is yet to be announced.

NTA has announced the JEE Mains 2026 session 1 exam date. As per the schedule, NTA will conduct the JEE Main session 1 exam from January 21 to 30. NTA will conduct the exam in two shifts every exam day in approximately 300 test cities of India and abroad. Candidates can check details about exam dates and other schedule on the JEE Main official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
To check your JEE Mains exam city, you can download the city intimation slip from the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA). Visit jeemain.nta.nic.in and look for the "JEE (Main) City Intimation Slip" link under the candidate activity section. Log in using your application number, date of birth, and security pin to access the slip. Keep an eye on the website for updates, as the link is usually released a few days before the exam.
