The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to begin the registration process for JEE Main 2027 Session 1 next month, in October 2026. The exact registration date has not been announced yet. As per the expected timeline, the JEE Main 2027 application form is likely to be released in the last week of October 2026 on the official website.

The NTA is expected to release the JEE Main 2027 notification along with the application schedule, eligibility criteria, examination dates, fee details and other important instructions. Candidates should note that the October registration timeline is tentative and the final dates will be confirmed only through the official NTA notification.

JEE Main 2027 Registration Expected Next Month; What Students Should Keep Ready

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to begin the registration process for JEE Main 2027 Session 1 next month, in October 2026. The exact registration date has not been announced yet. As per the expected timeline, the JEE Main 2027 application form is likely to be released in the last week of October 2026 on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The notification carrying the registration date and exam dates will be available via the JEE Main notification by the end of September 2026.

JEE Main 2027 Registration in October 2026: What Students Should Keep Ready

With the registration window expected to open soon, candidates can start preparing the details and documents required to complete the application form without last-minute problems.

Students should keep the following ready:

  • Aadhaar card or valid identity details: Candidates should ensure that their personal and identity details are updated and match the information to be provided in the application form.
  • Class 10 details: Keep the Class 10 marksheet/certificate and details such as the year of passing readily available.
  • Class 12 details: Candidates appearing for or who have passed Class 12 should keep their academic details ready.
  • Recent photograph: A recent passport-size photograph in the prescribed format may be required for uploading.
  • Signature: Candidates should keep a scanned image of their signature ready as per the specifications mentioned by NTA.
  • Category certificate: SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS and other applicable candidates should keep valid certificates ready, wherever required.
  • PwD/UDID certificate: Candidates claiming PwD benefits should keep the relevant disability/UDID documents available.
  • Active mobile number and email ID: Candidates should use an active mobile number and email address that they can access throughout the examination process.
  • Payment method: Keep a suitable online payment method ready for paying the application fee.

For the last session, NTA had also advised candidates to update Aadhaar, UDID and category certificate details before filling the application form. Candidates appearing for JEE Main 2027 should similarly check the latest instructions once the official notification is released.

JEE Main 2027 Session 1 Exam Expected in January

JEE Main 2027 is expected to be conducted in two sessions - January and April 2027. Session 1 is expected to be held in January, followed by Session 2 in April. However, the final examination dates will be announced by NTA through the official notification.

Candidates are advised to regularly check the official JEE Main website for the registration notification and avoid relying on unofficial dates until NTA confirms the schedule.
