JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Topper Interview Shreyas Mishra
Q: Congratulations on your JEE Main 100 Percentile. How do you feel?
A: I feel very happy since I worked hard to achieve this result.
Q: How did you prepare for JEE Main 2026?
A: I prepared for JEE Main through Allen Kota. The level of test series provided by Allen was quite good. It helped me a lot during my practice and preparation.
Q: How did you manage mistakes while preparing for JEE Main?
A: Whenever I made any mistakes in mock tests, I tried to classify it. I used to classify it as either silly mistakes, ideas not striking or calculation errors. For silly mistakes, I used to revisit the question again after two or three days to correct it. As for unattempted questions, I checked for its references in NCERT. If I did not find the references in NCERT, then I used to ask my teachers. If I found any question difficult in Physics and Mathematics, I used to try to find multiple solution methods to solve it.
Q: What was your preparation plan a day before the JEE Mains exam?
A: A day before the JEE Mains exam, I avoided talking to others. I just revised my notes and the important points that I had marked. I slept early at around 10 PM and woke up at 6 AM so that I got a good and sound sleep to have a fresh mind.
Q: How did you handle tough questions during JEE Main?
A: Whenever I faced difficult questions in JEE Main exam, I did not hesitate to skip it for the time being. I believe that rather than spending time on a question I have difficulty solving, it is better to attempt easier questions. This helps to build my confidence and manage my time.
Q: Are you preparing for JEE Advanced? How have you started your preparation?
A: After JEE Main, I took a break for two or three days. After the break, I started to review those Chemistry topics, which were not required for JEE Main, but are present in the JEE Advanced syllabus. I have also attempted many mock tests until now in preparation for JEE Advanced.

No, your rank does not change your fees. Merit ranks generated via the JEE Main entrance exam are exclusively used to determine branch selection and seat eligibility during allocation. Once admitted, your tuition fee relies entirely on government social category waivers and annual family income slab
