CET cell will be starting the MHT CET registration process soon at cetcell.mahacet.org. Last year, the application forms were released on December 30. It is expected that this year too, CET cell will release the MHT CET forms by the last week of December 2025. The CET cell has already announced the MHT CET 2026 exam dates.

The Maharashtra State CET cell will release the MHT CET application form soon. A few days back, the CET cell released a notification about the requirement for mandatory documents for all candidates registering for the exam this year. Check the latest updates below.

CET cell will be starting the MHT CET registration process soon at cetcell.mahacet.org. Last year, the application forms were released on December 30. It is expected that this year too, CET cell will release the MHT CET forms by the last week of December 2025.

The CET cell has already announced the MHT CET 2026 exam dates, and this year the exam will be held twice. The MHT CET 2026 exam date for session 1 is April 11 to 19 for the PCM group and April 21 to 26 for the PCB group. MHT CET 2026 exam date for session 2 is from May 14 to 17 for the PCM group and for the PCB group, from May 10 to 11.

Mandatory Documents for MHT CET 2026 Registration

Recently, the CET cell also released a notice to inform the applicants of MHT CET 2026 about the mandatory documents needed for MHT CET registration this year. As per the notice, all candidates will need to have the following documents ready and updated before the application process starts.

All prospective candidates intending to apply for any CET are informed that the following documents are required for the registration process.

  • Aadhaar (UIDAI) Card: CET cell has asked the applicants to update their Aadhaar cards. The Aadhaar card should have the latest and updated details like name, date of birth (as per Class 10 certificate), latest Photograph, address, father's name, and mobile number linked to Aadhaar (must be updated and active).
  • Β Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR):Β  All prospective candidates applying for CETs are advised to generate their APAAR ID as it will be required for registration purposes.
  • Disability Certificate and/or Unique Disability ID (UDID Card) (for PwD Candidates): PwD candidates must upload a Disability Certificate issued by the Competent Authority or a UDID Card, if available. PwD candidates are further advised to obtain UDID, as it may be required during the Common Admission Process (CAP).
  • Scribe Details (for PwD Candidates in case of Eligible Disabilities): PwD candidates who are eligible to opt for scribes must submit details of two scribes at the time of online application.

Β Apart from the mandatory documents, reports have claimed that this year, there will be a rise in the MHT CET application fee of around INR 150 to 250. However, at the time of publishing this report, CET cell has not officially informed of any registration fee hike.
