National Law University (NLU) Delhi and Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster a dynamic collaboration at the intersection of law and technology. This partnership paves the way for joint research, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and institutional cooperation in critical areas such as legal technology, management, entrepreneurship, and regulatory studies. By combining their expertise, NLU Delhi and NSUT seek to amplify the translational impact of their academic and research efforts.
An important pillar of this partnership is the collaboration between the NSUT Innovation and Incubation Council (NSUT IIF) and the NLU Delhi Foundation, which will spearhead initiatives in start-ups, incubation, and technology-driven legal frameworks. This alliance will provide access to cutting-edge resources, including NSUT’s Fab Lab, fostering hands-on innovation and the development of transformative solutions.

To drive the successful implementation of this partnership, a structured governance model has been established, featuring a Steering Committee and a Technical Committee. The MoU also sets the stage for hackathons, ideathons, and similar events to foster innovation and problem-solving among students and researchers. Additionally, it provides a framework for joint funding applications to national and international bodies, supporting collaborative research and development initiatives.
Prof. (Dr.) G.S. Bajpai, Vice Chancellor, National Law University Delhi, and Prof. (Dr.) Anand Srivastava, Vice-Chancellor, NSUT, led this collaboration. Prof. (Dr.) Ruhi Paul, Registrar, NLUD, and Prof. (Dr.) Shailendra Kumar Jha, Registrar, NSUT, are responsible for overseeing the administrative and institutional coordination.
