NTA Releases JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Question Papers For All Shifts @ jeemain.nta.nic.in
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Mains session 2 question paper PDFs for all shifts of the exam held on April 2, 4, 5, 6, and 8. The candidates can now download the JEE Main April session question paper PDFs from the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in.
JEE Main 2026 April session question paper PDF for all shifts has been uploaded by NTA at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can now download the question paper PDFs for the CBT held between April 2 and 8.

JEE Main 2026 Provisional Answer Keys & Response Sheets on April 11
NTA will release the JEE Main answer keys 2026 and the candidate response sheets on April 11, tentatively. On the same day, NTA will open the challenge window for the answer key objections. To submit the challenges, candidates have to pay INR 200 per question and upload document proof supporting their challenge.
NTA will release the final keys within a few hours before the result, after considering the challenges from candidates, by April 20, tentatively. The final result of JEE Mains session 2 will have the all India ranks of candidates and the cutoff marks to be eligible for JEE Advanced.
Across all the shifts of the JEE Mains 2026 session 2 exam, around 11.23 lakh candidates have appeared as per the official NTA notice.
Following the result declaration, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will organise the centralised counselling process starting from June 2, 2026. All candidates who secure a valid JEE Main All India Rank will be eligible to register on the JoSAA portal to fill in their preferred choices for admission into various NITs, IIITs, and other Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs).

There are two question types in JEE Main exam. Multiple choice questions and numerical ability questions. In MCQ, every question has 4 options with only 1 correct answer. Select the correct option. In numerical ability question type, no options are there. Solve them and write answer using keyword and mouse.
NO, it is compulsory to attempt all questions in the JEE Main exam. The JEE Main exam has negative marking and candidates must answer only those questions for which they know the correct answer. Students must note that there are no minimum marks in JEE Main that students need to score. Students gets All India Rank based on the marks they secure in exam and gets admission based on that rank.
