TNSDC, Edunet Foundation, and Shell India Launch ‘Skills4Future’ to Empower Tamil Nadu’s Youth
The Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation, Edunet Foundation, and Shell India have jointly launched the Skills4Future program in Tamil Nadu to empower youth with future-ready skills.
The Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC), in partnership with the Edunet Foundation and Shell India, has launched Skills4Future, a transformative initiative designed to equip the state’s youth with future-ready skills in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cleaner technologies. In its initial phase, the program aims to benefit over 25,000 students, reinforcing Tamil Nadu’s position as a leading hub for technological innovation and sustainable growth.

The Skills4Future program features a comprehensive curriculum aligned with TNSDC’s credit-based framework, offering students the choice of a 50-hour foundation course and an advanced course spanning 140 to 160 hours. Both courses focus on practical, hands-on learning in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cleaner technologies, tailored to meet the evolving demands of the global workforce.
A cornerstone of the Skills4Future program is the Faculty Development Program (FDP), through which industry experts will train educators in the latest advancements in Artificial Intelligence and cleaner technologies. This initiative not only enhances faculty expertise but also ensures their continued adaptability to emerging technological trends. By equipping educators with up-to-date skills, the FDP supports the delivery of effective, future-proof training driving long-term impact and fostering the sustained evolution of skill development across the state.
Speaking on the partnership, Nagesh Singh, Chairman, Edunet Foundation, said, “This partnership with TNSDC and Shell India is a pivotal step in preparing Tamil Nadu’s future workforce with the skills necessary for Industry 4.0.
