Goa Board has announced the exam dates for SSC and HSSC term-wise. While, the Term 1 exams will be conducted in November, the term 2 exams will be held in March-April.
GSEB SSC, HSSC Exams 2023: The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has announced the commencement of applications to register Class 10, 12 students for the exams to be conducted next year. The state board has also decided to continue with the two-term exam pattern cycle this year as well. It was felt that having two exams reduced the pressure on students.
As per the special evaluation scheme, the syllabus is divided into two equal parts for the first term and the second term. The board conducts both these term-end examinations in lieu of a single public exam at the end of the academic year.
While the first term exam is based on multiple choice questions, the second term will be subjective in nature. The results for both will be combined and declared at the end of the Term 2 exams.
