A total of 31 companies have confirmed their participation, offering more than 1,200 vacancies across diverse sectors including finance, education, publishing, immigration services, manufacturing, and strategic skills development.

The Central Placement Cell of the University of Delhi is set to organise a large-scale Job Mela on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. The event will be held at the Indoor Stadium, North Campus, University Enclave, New Delhi, and has already garnered significant attention from both recruiters and students.

A total of 31 companies have confirmed their participation, offering more than 1,200 vacancies across diverse sectors including finance, education, publishing, immigration services, manufacturing, and strategic skills development. The Job Mela is expected to provide students with a wide range of employment and internship opportunities, catering to various career interests and specialisations.

Among the major highlights, Expert Global is offering one of the highest packages at ₹12 lakh per annum (LPA), while Axis IIT/NEET is providing packages up to ₹7.2 LPA along with internships offering a maximum stipend of ₹30,000 per month. Other notable recruiters participating in the event include Muthoot Finance, Bajaj Allianz, Bharti Bhawan Publications, Immigration Desk, Bajaj Capital, Capital Goods & Strategic Skill Council, Shahi Exports, FRR Forex, and Back Benchers.

Of the 31 companies, 15 are offering both full-time placement and internship opportunities, while another 15 are recruiting exclusively for full-time roles. This balance between internships and permanent positions aims to cater to the varying needs of students, whether they are looking for immediate employment or experiential learning opportunities.

The Job Mela is a part of Delhi University’s ongoing efforts to strengthen industry-academia linkages and enhance the career prospects of its students. By bringing a diverse set of employers directly to campus, the university continues to facilitate meaningful engagement between students and industry leaders.

“This initiative underscores Delhi University’s commitment to the holistic development of its students and to fostering stronger ties with the corporate world,” said Prof. Ranjan Kumar Tripathi, Dean of Students’ Welfare.
