Indira Gandhi National Tribal University or IGNTU Amarkantak is a government university. The university was established in 2008, in Amarkantak, MP, under the IGNTU Act, 2007. The University is fully funded by the Central government through the UGC. The University offers various courses with AIU membership.
The University has 13+ faculties offering courses across the streams of Commerce and Management, Computer Science, Earth Science, Education, Pharmacy, Science, Tribal Studies, and many more.

Admission to IGNTU is offered on the basis of merit and valid scores of accepted entrance exams. students must meet the eligibility criteria by securing a minimum aggregate of 45% to 50% for admission to UG-level courses. For PG-level courses, students must score 50% in graduation. In addition to this, students must score valid scores in CUET UG or CUET PG, depending on the course eligibility, which may vary. Apart from this, for admission to the MBA, students must score valid scores in accepted entrance exams such as CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ ATMA/ OJEE or other equivalent examinations.

Additionally, for admission to PG courses, Indira Gandhi National Tribal University accepts CUET-PG scores. Admission to IGNTU MBA programme is offered on the basis of entrance.
