Jamia has requested all pass out students to take note of this facility and avail themselves of service starting September 25, 2025.

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has announced that Provisional Certificates for all pass-out students will now be issued exclusively through the University’s Student Portal (https://jmicoe.in), effective today.

As per the Office of the Controller of Examinations, this is designed to save time, minimize paperwork, and ensure a transparent, hassle-free process for students. “With the new system in place, students will no longer need to physically visit offices or wait for weeks; instead, they can download their provisional certificates within minutes, from anywhere and at any time, reads JMI press note.

As per the new process provisional Certificates will be processed and issued only through the Student Portal. Students can submit their applications online, pay the prescribed fee, and download their certificate.

There will be an application fee of INR 300 (INR 50 for the certificate + INR 250 automation charges).
