NIRF Ranking 2022: The Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced the NIRF Indian Ranking 2022 today; i.e. July 15, 2022. Last year, the NIRF Ranking was announced on September 9 in virtual mode owing to COVID-19 restrictions. According to the NIRF Ranking 2022, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru has been declared as the top Indian university followed by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI).
Other universities following IISc Bangalore in NIRF Ranking are Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) at Rank 2, JMI at Rank 3, Jadavpur University, Kolkata at Rank 4, and Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham at Rank 5.
In the NIRF university ranking 2022, the Jamia Millia Islamia stood third while it was ranked number 6 last year.
