The central library of Jadavpur University comprises a number of 6198 books, 11762 journals, 24 resource databases, 2 talking books and 13742 question papers.
- Hostel: The university provides accommodation facilities for both boys & girls. A total number of 13 hostels are there at the campus premises, 4 for girls & 9 for boys hostels with provision for accommodating over 1600 students. There is an exclusive hostel for research scholars. All the amenities of the hostel come at a feasible price which is INR 3,000.
- Guest House: Jadavpur University has a guest house with 90 double bedrooms, 3 deluxe rooms, 2 single rooms, with all the required maintenance.
- Health Center: The University Health Centre is located on the campus. It is attended by a full-time Medical Superintendent and part-time qualified specialists in General Medicine, Eye, E.N.T., Skin, Dental and Pathology and a part-time Lady Doctor. All the specialists visit the health center for two hours three days a week and the Lady Doctor attends the center on all working days for three hours a day.
