WBJEEB to postpone PUBDET 2020 exam which is scheduled for April 11 and 12

PUBDET 2020 exam will be postponed due to COVID-19 outbreak. The revised dates is yet to be announced, informs WBJEEB.

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has decided to postpone the Presidency University Bachelor Degree Entrance Test (PUBDET) 2020 due to the coronavirus outbreak. PUBDET is scheduled to be conducted on April 11 and 12, 2020. The revised schedule will be announced shortly.

The application process for PUBDET is over as the online registration and filling and submitting of the application forms commenced from January 9, 2020 and the last date to apply was till February 6, 2020. The admit card is supposed to be released on April 6, 2020. With the exam date now being postponed due to the global pandemic known as COVID-19, the dates are to be revised. What is PUBDET?

The Presidency University Bachelor’s Degree Entrance Test (PUBDET) is conducted by the WBJEEB on behalf of the Presidency University in order to offer students admission in undergraduate courses which are offered at the university. PUBDET is a state-level entrance exam which is conducted annually. Through PUBET, candidates can enrol for admission in Humanities and Social Sciences courses offered at the university.
