Tata Institute of Social Sciences extends TISS BAT application form date to April 10

The last date of filling and submitting the TISS BAT application form has now been extended to April 10, 2020.

The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) has extended the last date to submit the TISS BAT 2020 application forms from March 23, 2020 to April 10, 2020 due to the global pandemic COVID-19 outbreak. The application forms for TISS BAT 2020 were released online on the official website of TISS from December 5, 2019 onwards. The TISS BAT 2020 exam is set to be conducted on April 25, 2020.

With the application form deadline now being extended, the release of the TISS BAT admit card is now also expected to be postponed as the admit card is to be released online on April 11, 2020. Candidates can go through the below mentioned TISS BAT timeline which are as follows:

How to apply for TISS BAT 2020

Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps on how to apply for TISS BAT.

Step 1: Visit the official website of Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS).

Step 2: Click on the link ‘B.A Programmes Apply’.

Step 3: The candidate will be directed to a new tab on the browser.

Step 4: If you are a new user, the candidate will have to click on the link ‘Click here to register’.

Step 5: The candidate will then have to create a login ID and password.

Step 6: The student will receive an mail ID on the registered email ID. Click on the link on the mail and proceed to fill the application form.

Step 7: Fill in all the details as required such as personal and academic details, upload images.

Step 8: Pay the TISS BAT application fee.

Step 9: Once all the formalities are done, the candidate has then successfully applied for TISS BAT 2020.

What is TISS BAT?

The Tata Institute of Social Sciences conducts a Bachelor’s Admission Test (BAT) in order to offer students admission in various humanities courses which are offered at the institute and its regional courses. TISS BAT is a national-level entrance exam which is conducted in offline and online mode. The exam duration is of 90 minutes and total marks of the entrance exam is 100.
