NIIT Foundation, YuWaah Launches Online Course in Digital Marketing for Skill Development
The online course in digital marketing under the initiative of NIIT Foundation and YuWaah is currently active across Rajasthan, Jharkhand, and Odisha to create a digitally empowered and job-ready generation.
NIIT Foundation, in collaboration with YuWaah, UNICEF, has launched an Open Online Course in Digital Marketing. The programme is initiated under the campaign banner 'NayiDigitalDisha'. At present, the programme is being implemented across Rajasthan, Jharkhand, and Odisha, aiming to create a digitally empowered and job-ready generation. With this initiative, NIIT Foundation and YuWaah aim to achieve Skill development, particularly future-ready skills. As a result, non-profit organisations have to help the government in its goal of being a fully skilled nation by 2047.
This course is intended to make high-quality digital education available to underprivileged youth, particularly those from distant or disadvantaged backgrounds. Participants in the course will earn an NCVET-assessed and NSDC-certified credential, allowing them to perform effectively in the digital marketing industry.
The course covers how to create and execute promotional strategies using social media and the internet, find clients for enterprises, and continuously develop professional and technical skills. The Online Course in Digital Marketing is of six months duration, reaching out to around 500 young people in three Indian states.
Speaking about the initiative, Charu Kapoor, Country Director at NIIT Foundation, said, “This program is a step toward equipping India’s youth with real-world digital skills that will help them thrive in a tech-driven economy.”
The Online Course in Digital Marketing is focused on helping participants secure quality employment and improve their overall quality of life.
