JMI University Registrations Underway; Check Documents Required to Apply

Documents Required for JMI 2025 Applications

Jamia Millia Islamia has begun accepting applications for the JMI Entrance Exam for university admissions. The JMI Entrance Exam 2025 application form is available online on the official website - admission.jmi.ac.in. The registrations are open from March 5 to April 20, 2025. An application correction window will be open from April 12 to 14, 2025. Only eligible aspirants will be able to apply for the entrance exam. The entrance tests for various subjects and programmes will be conducted from April 26, 2025, onwards. Applicants must keep some mandatory documents handy while filling out the JMI Entrance Exam application form. Find out what those documents are below. 

Documents Required to Apply for JMI University Admissions

Applicants must have the following documents and other prerequisites to fill the JMI Entrance Exam 2025 application form. 

• A valid and active email ID. If need be, JMI will use these registered emails for any future communications with the candidates. 
• Soft copy of passport-sized photograph (coloured, max. file size - 100KB, format - JPG/ JPEG, background - white). 
• Soft copy of candidates’ signature (max. file size - 100KB, format - JPG/ JPEG, pen colour - black). 

Points to Remember w.r.t. JMI Application Forms

Applicants must remember the following points while filling the JMI Entrance Exam application form. 

• The application form can be filled online only, no printed or physical forms will be accepted by the university. 
• The application fee must be paid online while filling out the JMI application form. 
• The application fee can be paid using net banking/ credit card/ debit card only. 
• The JMI application fee is non-refundable. 
• Refunds will only be made in case of failed transactions. 
• There are two phases to filling the application form (registration and filling of application form details)
• Applicants must ensure their eligibility through the prospectus before applying. 
• During the application correction window, candidates can edit all application form details except names and dates of birth.
• Only one form can be submitted for one programme. 
• On successful registration and submission of the application form, candidates will receive an email with a unique code with a link to verify the email, login ID (registered email), and password. These details will be used by the candidates to log in for subsequent events of the exam like the release of the admit card, result declaration, etc. 
• JMI reserves the right to reject applications on account of multiple application submissions for one programme, or any other reason.
