Goa Institute of Management (GIM) has started admission for its 2026–28 PGDM batch, inviting applications for five PG programmes. Application has been started for Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), Healthcare Management (HCM), Big Data Analytics (BDA), Banking, Insurance and Financial Services (BIFS), and International Double Degree in Analytics (IDA).
PGDM is most sought-after course, other specialized programmes have also been attracting interest in recent years. Healthcare Management is for students looking for career in hospitals, pharmaceuticals and healthcare services. BDA course is to train students in data driven decision making, analytics and artificial intelligence (AI), BIFS prepares students for jobs in banking, fintech and insurance sectors.
The IDA programme allows students to complete first year in Goa and pursue second year at a partner institution abroad, including leading business schools in Europe.
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 50 per cent marks (45 per cent for SC/ST) and present valid scores in CAT, XAT or GMAT. For analytics related courses such as BDA and IDA, candidates will also have to appear for GIM Analytics Aptitude Test (GAAT), scheduled in February 2026. The selection process includes test scores, past academic performance, work experience and interview. GIM also runs an “Achiever’s Round” to provide early shortlisting opportunities for students with exceptional academic or professional records.
The fee for PGDM programme is about ₹19.4 lakh for the full course. In addition, a refundable caution deposit of ₹25,000 is also charged, out of which ₹5,000 goes towards alumni membership at the time of graduation.
As per the GIM, its PGDM courses have been designed to prepare future-ready leaders with a balance of industry-relevant skills and a global outlook. The institutes select a number of students for admission out of which some miss the first list due to a few points. Such students are kept in waitlist incase any candidate from the first list chooses to not appear for WAT-PI. Those who are kept in the waitlist are invited for WAT-PI if there are seats remaining to be filled after WAT-PI round of the first batch of the students.
