TS ICET 2020 exam postponed until further notice; check details

Telangana High Court has directed the Telangana State Council of Higher Education to postpone all common entrance exams including TS ICET, TS EAMCET, TS PolyCET, TS LAWCET, exam till further notice. The postponement of entrance exams came after the state government filed an affidavit in the High Court over the same.TS ICET 2020 was set to be conducted on July 13 whereas TS EAMCET, TS PolyCET and TS ECET were scheduled for July 1.

The High Court was hearing a Public Interest Litigation filed by NSUI seeking postponement of all state-level entrance exams in view of the rising number of Covid-19 cases, Time of India reported. Earlier, the Court had sought state government's opinion on whether it would be conducive to conduct the entrance exams under current circumstances. TSICET's official website has been down for several hours now. According to reports, new dates and schedules for the entrance exams will be released after analyzing the COVID-19 situation in the state. Earlier, TS ICET 2020 registration with Rs 1,000 late fees ended on June 30.

TS ICET hall ticket was scheduled for release on July 06. Kakatiya University released TS ICET Application Form 2020 on March 9, 2020. The application process witnessed multiple extensions due to lockdown. The entrance exam is conducted for admission to MBA & MCA programmes offered by various colleges in Telangana. Candidates holding a bachelor’s degree or those in the final year can apply for the exam.
