TS ICET Application Form 2025: Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda, closed the Telangana ICET registration window. Candidates were able to fill the TG ICET application form 2025 on the official website, icet.tgche.ac.in. Candidates who completed the TS ICET registration process before the deadline were issued the ICET hall ticket. TG ICET registration fee of INR 750 or INR 550 was payable based on the category as the application fee to submit the online form for TS ICET 2025.

Q:   What is the timeline for TS ICET registration?
A: 

TS ICET registration commences in the first week of March. Candidates aspiring for MBA or MCA admission in Telangana can apply for the exam. The TS ICET application schedule includes multiple deadlines. The TS ICET application form is available within a specified window for all the candidates who wish to apply without paying any late fee amount. Immediately after the regular registration window is closed, candidates can apply via the registration window available with late fee payment.

In the past few sessions, TSCHE hosted the following registration windows (mentioned with general deadlines).

  • TS ICET registration deadline without late fee payment: first week of May
  • TS ICET registration deadline with late fee of INR 250: Second week of May
  • TS ICET registration deadline with late fee of INR 500: Third week of May
Q:   What is the last date to apply for TGICET?
A: 

TGCHE releases the TS ICET dates for registration with and without a late fee payment. Every year, the TGICET exam registration starts in the first or second week of March. The last date to apply for the TGICET exam without the late fee is set in the first week of May. However, this date can be revised based on several factors.

Candidates applying after the regular deadline have to pay a late fee amount along with the TGICET application fee.

Q:   Who releases TS ICET application form?
A: 

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) holds the responsibility to assign a conducting body for the TS ICET exam. Kakatiya University conducts the TS ICET exam on behalf of TSCHE. All exam related events, including the registration, admit card release, answer key publication, and result declaration is done by Kakatiya University, on behalf of the exam convener, TSCHE.

TSCHE is a statutory body of Government of Telangana, responsible to prepare consolidated programmes in the field of Higher Education for maintenance quality, accessibility and employability. TSCHE came into existence on account of the National Educational Policy, which recommends a state level planning and coordination of Higher Education to be done via councils of Higher Education and UGC.

Q:   Can I submit TGICET application form offline?
A: 

No, the TGICET application form can be submitted in an online mode only. The official website of Telangana ICET hosts the online registration link. There is no option to submit the TSICET form in an offline mode. Candidates must complete the one time registration to proceed for TSICET registration.

Once the login credentials are generated, candidates have to fill the TSICET application form using the candidate account. Besides the online application form fillup, candidates have to pay the TSICET registration fee online.

In addition to the online application process, the TGICET registration fee is also payable online.

Q:   Where can I find the link to apply for TSICET exam?

The registration for the TSICET exam begins in the first or second week of March every year. TGCHE holds the responsibility to administer the exam in the state. Each year, a participating university isw presented with an opportunity to look after the entire examination process, including the registration process and result declaration. The conducting university releases the TSICET login link for registration on the official exam website.

Q:   How competitive is TS ICET exam? How many candidates applied for TSICET 2022 exam?
A: 
Every year, more than 60,000 candidates apply for the TSICET exam. Kakatiya University has been recording an upward move in the graph of total applicants for TSICET exam. In 2022, TSICET exam recorded an all-time high registration of 75,952 candidates. Out of theses 75,000+ applicants, 68,781 took the state-level exam. While only 61,613 were able to qualify for the counselling process, with a pass percentage of 89.58 per cent. In the 2021 session, as many as 66,034 candidates applied for the exam. On the contrary, 58,392 applied for TSICET in the 2020 exam session.

TS ICET 2025 Application Form Correction

TGCHE hosts a window for the TS ICET application form correction. In case candidates make any error while filling the TS ICET application form, he/she can use the facility to edit/modify the details. However, candidates must not rely on the form correction facility as all the details cannot be modified.

There are broadly two categories of details in the TSICET application form, Candidates can make changes in category 2 only whereas for category 1 they need to send a written request via e-mail to the Convener Office of TSICET at convener.icet@tgche.ac.in

Q:   When to access the TSICET application form correction window after making an error while filling the TSICET form?
A: 

Candidates who made an error while filling out the TSICET application form will be allowed to rectify or modify details using the TSICET application form correction window. Kakatiya University facilitates the TSICET form correction window for a period of three days after the registration window is closed. Candidates can find the link to access the login portal for the TSICET  form correction window on the official website.

Candidates can access the TS ICET form correction window by providing the following credentials:

  • Registration number
  • Payment reference ID
  • Qualifying exam hall ticket number
  • Mobile number
  • Date of birth (DD/MM/YYYY)

Candidates failing to complete the TSICET registration on or before the last date are not allowed to access the form correction window.

Q:   What is TSICET MBA eligibility criteria?

The eligibility criteria for TSICET exam remains the same for MBA or MCA courses. However, the qualifying degree may change based on the course selected by the candidate. The eligibility conditions for TSICET are as follows: - Indian nationals with local/non-local status of Telangana are eligible to apply for TSICET exam. - Candidates must have crossed the age of 19 years. - TSCHE has not specified any upper age limit to participate in the TSICET examination process. - Unreserved category candidates must obtain an aggregate score of 50 per cent in the qualifying exam. - Reserved category candidates must obtain an aggregate score of 45 per cent in the qualifying exam. Besides the above-mentioned eligibility conditions, candidates must meet the institute-specific eligibility criteria. TSICET participating institutes might have additional eligibility conditions. Eligibility Criteria to Fill TS ICET 2025 Application Form

Candidates must fulfil the following eligibility conditions before filling the TGICET application form 2025.

  • Candidates must be Indian nationals with local/non-local status of Telangana to apply for TSICET 2025
  • The lower age of the candidate must be 19 years. TSCHE has not specified any upper age limit for TG ICET
  • Candidates holding a bachelor's degree with an aggregate of 50 per cent are eligible (45 per cent for reserved category)

Step 1: TSICET Registration

  • Visit the official website of TSICET 2025, i.e. icet.tsche.ac.in

Step 4: Preview and Submit Telangana ICET 2025 Application Form

  • Click on the preview tab and carefully check all the details entered in the application form
  • Click on the button reading 'Confirm and Submit' if all details mentioned are correct, else click on the 'Edit' button
  • After submission, a registration ID and barcode will be generated immediately
  • Take a printout of the same and keep it as an acknowledgement of the application form fillup

Candidates applying for TSICET 2023 exam have to pay INR 750 or INR 550. The fee depends on the category of the candidate. Unreserved category candidates have to pay INR 750. While the reserved category candidates have to pay INR 550 as the TSICET application fee. Reserved categories getting the fee concession include SC, ST, and differently able category. What after TSICET Application Process?

Soon after the TSICET registration process concludes, TSCHE will issue TSICET 2025 admit card.
