XIM University Admissions 2021: Xavier University, formally known as XIM University has commenced the admission application for its 2 year full-time Master of Business Finance (MBF) programme for the 2021 batch. Candidates interested in XIM University MBA MBF Admission 2021 must note that the deadline to apply for the management programme at XIM University is July 31, 2021.
XIM University MBA MBF Admission 2021: Eligibility Criteria
In order to apply for XIM University management courses, the applicant must have BCom (Accounting/Finance), or BSc (Mathematics/Statistics), or BA/BSc (Economics), or BTech, or CA/CS/CMA, with at least 55% in aggregate, from a recognized University. Final year degree students, who expect to complete their final examinations and other requirements for obtaining the degree by June 15, 2021, can also apply.
XIM University Admission Test
Preferably, the applicant must have appeared for any one of the following Admission tests:
1) XAT conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur on 3 January 2021
2) CAT conducted by IIMs on 29 November 2020
3) GMAT taken in 2019 or 2020
4) X-GMT (Xavier General Management Aptitude Test) conducted by Xavier University, on 31 January 2021
5) NMAT conducted by GMAC during November 2020 – February 2021.
In case the candidates fail to clear the cut-off in the chosen Admission Test or if s/he have not appeared for any of the Admission Tests mentioned above, then s/he will be required to appear for another Aptitude Test to be conducted by Xavier University, Bhubaneswar, which will be notified and intimated to the candidates in due course. Such candidates will have to clear the cut-off percentile score (as stipulated by the University), to be shortlisted for the Admission Interview Process.
XIM University Admissions: Selection Process
Group Discussion and/or Writing Ability Test and/or Personal Interview will be conducted at Bhubaneswar for candidates selected on the basis of admission test (XAT, CAT, GMAT, NMAT or X-GMT). The University will inform the mode (Online/Offline) of the interview process in due course. Candidates without valid test score (XAT, CAT, GMAT, X-GMT or NMAT) will have to appear an Aptitude Test. The date and mode of the test will be notified and intimated to the candidates in due course. The final selection will be based on the candidate's performance in XAT/CAT/GMAT/NMAT/X-GMT, performance in GD and/or Writing Ability Test and/or Personal Interview, and will take into account the past academic record and proficiency, General Aptitude, and relevant work experience.
How to apply for XIM University MBA MBF Admission 2021?
Step 1: Go to the official website of the University
Step 2: Click on the admission tab
Step 3: Choose MBF from the list of courses and click on apply
Step 4: Fill up the "Login Details" (in the Next page) to create and receive by email a unique XU ID/ Login ID and Password for applying to Xavier University. If you have already received your XU ID/ Login ID and Password, then login as per Step 5.
Step 5: Login with your XU ID/ Login ID and Password. Fill up the Personal Details, Academic Details, Professional Details, choose the program/s you want to apply for and the respective test option/s, upload your photo & signature and Submit. (You may keep ready the scanned/digital images of your photo/signature in JPEG format, in advance. The dimensions of the photo may be of about 200x250 pixels, and the signature may be about 250x125 pixels, both images within 50 kb each in size).
Step 7: Pay the application fee through the Payment Gateway. (Application fee is Rs.1600/-).
